I would ask if they were an accredited bariatric center. Also, contact not only your ins but your HR department to make 100% sure your covered if not self-pay. Cigna denied me after they told me I was approved. They said sorry, yes we have the tape recording that we gave you wrong coverage info. But you are still denied. I went through the entire program at Mayo clinic driving 6 hours each way for months and months having $1000 in expenses and they do not care about my time, my heart ache beginning told no or my husband losing his job to help me make the very appt that were to give me hope at saving my life from other comibiditirie.
