Feb. 28 2008 I finally got the surgery I have been waiting so long for-the lap band. I really didn't experience pain from the actual insisions, but from the CO2 they used to look around. I went back to work 5 days after the surgery and have felt great ever since. I have lost 20 pounds since my surgery. My doctor has not filled my band yet though, he will do that on Monday April 7 so I will have more success with weight loss after that.

Yesterday went great. Hpylori test was negative and surgery was scheduled for Feb. 28, I am so excited!! They took a picture of me to compare in a year what I look like. :thumbup:Happy Valentines!

:thumbup: I was finally approved a week ago today to have the lap-band procedure done after 3 years of going back and forth with my insurance. I am so excited ! Today I went for my dietary consult and tommorow I am having my H pylori test ,then hopefully schedulling surgery.
