  3. I have had the same problem. When I left the hospital after my WLS I was on an IV regimen for about 3 weeks because I could not swallow. The IV was remove but the only things I can tolerate are liquids. Hot tea and Soup is my food almost every day. The shake to me are too thick and make me sick.
