  1. Yup. My doctor did my surgery robotically and besides some nausea from the anesthesia I had almost no pain!
  2. I'm April 14th! Would love to join.

  6. Hi everyone! Had my sleeve done on the 14th as mentioned above and thankfully everything went smoothly. I'm feeling a lot better today than I did yesterday and I should be discharged from the hospital sometime this morning. I had an extra night stay in the hospital because anesthesia usually makes me nauseous and this time was no different. Today the nausea is almost completely gone! The hardest part has been trying to get down the awful protein gelatin that they make you eat. Other than that I can't complain. Thank you for all the supportive messages! I really needed them!
  7. Thanks! I'll be excited when it's over and i'm on the other side. I know it's not going to be easy but I'm ready for a healthier lifestyle.
  8. Hi!! So i'm having the sleeve done tomorrow at Centrastate Medical Center (NJ) Dr. Prokurat. I'm getting more and more nervous about having the surgery done. I know that i'm doing the right thing, I'm just scared about the actual surgery and what can potentially go wrong. I keep thinking about my 2 kids 6 & 1 and ultimately i'm doing this for them but I can't shake the nerves. Just praying for the best!
