  1. Has anyone else experienced depression after their surgery? I am 5 months post op, and I thought I would be in a better place mentally after surgery. I was depressed before, but not like I am now, it's worse. My physician just started me on Paxil, and I am hoping for some relief, just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this, and what did you do to work around it.
  2. It does, and it will get better, hang in there.
  3. Hi Sheila, I'm in PA as well, closer to Harrisburg. I had gastric bypass February 15th, my insurance required me to see a nutrionist fir 6 months, which I'm grateful for because this is not only a physical life changer it's a mental life changer. Good for you for seeking out help on your own. I'm still navigating this entire process as well. If you want a friend, I'm here. Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App
