I meant that I am eating the same as I always have before the band. I'm just not drinking with my meals. The other night I had four tacos for dinner, I have no control, I've never felt full since about two weeks after surgery, I have fills every two weeks... :biggrin:

I got my band on November 14 and I have gained 12 pounds. I followed the rules for a long time, but now am eating the same as before with the exception of drinking with meals. I have never felt any kind of restriction. I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else, I'm so afraid that I have made my pouch huge or something. I have 10 ccs in my 15 cc band? Any advice? Thanks guys...I'm trying to hold out, but I'm also wanting a beer... :rolleyes2: My BMI is 40 and I thought if i had a beer I would be ok, but just so nerve racking. I'm going to do clear liquid diet on my own 48 hours before surgery because I'm so paranoid that my liver will be ginormous! Carbs have always been my mainstay, so just a little scared. lfein-I'm so sorry, I hope everything goes well for you. I've lost 9 lbs since friday, but it's because I'm sooooooooo hungry, it's hard. Good luck to you, let me know what your surgeon says.

I know this has been asked before, but just wondering who has and been ok for surgery. I'm on day 6 of a 14 day diet, which includes one 4oz piece of lean meat and green veggies plus 2-3 protein shakes. I haven't cheated but I'm gettin twitchy :rolleyes2: Thanks...

My surgery is November 14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats to everyone...starting preop diet on Halloween. Excited and little nervous, mostly nervous that I will feel no restriction after surgery and be starving. WILLPOWER

I just got approved today for surgery, and I was wondering if anyone has been to True Results in Scottsdale? Opinions? Thanks so much... I live in Prescott and don't know anyone who has been there.

I've only talked on this site once, but read it almost everyday... I started the process a year ago and I got all my pre requisites done (FINALLY) and my insurance approved me today! I AM SO HAPPY. I've told everyone I know, and I can't stop smiling.:biggrin:

Well, for one thing, I needed a 5 year history, and I have only been with my current dr for 1 year. My old dr retired and went out of the country and the office girls would NOT give me the chart notes!! Also, I'm a total procrastinator and slowly would get some of the things checked off one by one, but SLOWLY :biggrin:
