  1. Hello, I am new here and excited about starting a new journey for myself and for my family. I have always been overweight and I'm ready to change that! I am attending a weight loss seminar today, 4/7/16, and I have my first appointment with the surgeon at The Medical Center of Bowling Green Monday April 11th. I have wanted this surgery for years and I finally am able to get the process started. My insurance does require the 6 month diet before surgery can be approved. Is there anyone in the area that could give me some advice about preparing for surgery? Where did you have your surgery? Any complications? Any regrets?? Any information is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
