  1. Thanks, just wanted to know what to expect because I will pay out of pocket for a few appointments. I'm not exactly sure when I will get a new health plan. Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App
  2. I just finished my 6 month process and hope to be sleeved in May. Can anyone tell me how often and how many post-op appointments to expect? I will be losing my current insurance in June. I see my surgeon next week. Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App
  3. Do you know how they gained the weight back or not able to lose more than 20 lbs?I assume by not following the rules. The one that never lost more than 20lbs said she never even felt restricted. They both live out of state. With my other sister, each time I would see her ahe was a little bigger. Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App
  4. I'm scheduled to see my surgeon in 2 weeks and hope to have my surgery in May. I have two sisters that had gastric bypass. One sister was very successful for the first couple of years and then gained most of her weight back. My other sister never lost more than 20 lbs and is the biggest she has ever been. I'm hoping since I KNOW it isn't an easy fix I will be successful LONG TERM! Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App
  5. I have done my 6 month process and have my first appointment with the surgeon April 20th. I am super excited and nervous. I'm worried about the Protein shakes. I do not like milky products like ice cream, milk and shakes. Will I get enough nutrients by using Protein powder in broth? I also see the NUT on April 20th. Just thought I'd ask you for advice early because it is something I'm concerned about, however I will do what needs to be done. Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App
