I had a tummy tuck in 2005 and depending on how physcial your job is plan for at least 3 weeks. If you have a physcial job plan on even longer. With conbination surgeries recovery is longer. I had a breast reduction and sailed through it. Recovery slam dunk, the TT was longer and you have to to careful not to overdue, believe it or not it was easy to do.
Yep, I'm on the west side of the valley in Goodyear. I've attended Dr Blackstone seminar, and will be going to Dr Fang out of Banner & St Lukes this tuesday. I got my referral but who knows how long t will still be.
I'm just a newbie and just going through the process, any info on Dr Juarez or Dr Fang out of St Lukes Hospital or Banner Hospital. My insurance covers either any recommendations from anybody would be greatly appreciated. I meet with them later his week.
I have just pestered my PCP to get me a referral to a lap band surgeon. He isn't a fan of surgery. Success after 6 months. I now wonder how long this next process will be. I meet with the surgeon on thursday. I've been with a dietician before (2 years ago) took 6 months lost 45 and now have gained back 20. Story of my life. Overweight for the past 30 years and am just getting the start of high blood pressure. Any suggestions of questions to the surgeon about surgery at 51? Still pretty healthy and on no meds. Does he know the insurance process or is that really a staff question... Thanks for input I love reading everybodys posts. The info is great.
