I have an 18-month old son and would like to have another child before getting sleeved. My husband and I had no issues conceiving the first go 'round due to well-managed PCOS, but this time we are probably going to turn to Clomid to assist in conceiving because I am not menstruating/ovulating on my own. Ideally I'll get pregnant this summer and have our second baby early next spring. I don't want to have the surgery first because I want our kids closer in age and am not willing to wait the recommended 18 months after surgery to get pregnant. How long should I wait after giving birth before pursuing the surgery? Is there anything I can do now, even before we conceive, to get the ball rolling or make it easier to get the surgery down the road? Any thoughts are appreciated!
