  13. Well I left the hospital 28 hours after surgery. I was placed in a room with a 93 year old man, who was very ill. He was placed in there at 1015 pm and they made a ton of noise while fighting with him. For the next 7 hours, he continued to set off his breathing machine and kept me up. I did not sleep for even 5 minutes. The home health aid that was with him all night kept yelling at him and taking phone calls and speaking on her cell phone. The 2nd home health aid took over at 7 am and kept up with the same crap. Finally I told the nurse I was checking myself out. So I left. I wasn't getting any benefit being there anyway, since I wasn't allowed to walk, had to pee in a bed pan, and they were only giving me Tylenol. Oh then he crapped in his diaper and they changed it in the room and stunk the whole place out and I was gagging, and almost throwing up. Terrible experience. *side note: doctor was ok with discharging me since I peed, burped, flatulated, passed the leak test, and tolerated jello* So Monday surgery, Tuesday miserable Wednesday extra miserable Today, happy, no gas pains, and waking 30 minutes a few times a day. Only pain is in my lower left quadron, presumably where they took the stomach piece out. Oxys barely do anything for it. Whatever. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  20. Alright, you two----if you weren't worried, or in an odd mood, you two would be "weirdos".. Really, WLS journeys are long and life changing. BUT you both have done the hardest part---you've recognized your disease and are ready to "face the demon". Tomorrow you will start the most challenging, but also the most joyful, rewarding journey of your lives. Hang on and enjoy the ride! There will be "bumps" in you path. That is what we are here for--for "bump removal". Whatever problem you may face, I am confident that there will be someone here who has faced the same "bump in the road" and can help you or at least talk you through it. Support is SOOOOO important. That you will ALWAYS have here on BP. Meet you on the ,"Losers' Bench". You will like it there. You can rest there--for a moment. Post and let us know how you are doing post op. We are absolutely nosy, but we also care. Try and get a good night's sleep. Tomorrow your journey begin!!! Positive people make me sick!!! The worst 2 weeks of my life ...
