Hi! I'm in North Carolina too! I'm in the Chapel Hill-Durham area. I'm 26, 5'1", and a full-time college student. I had VSG surgery on February 29th. Let me know if you want to connect and have any questions as I am in the very early post-op stage. (8 days post-op)
How soon after surgery do you all expect to be exercising? My surgery team told me to wait 6-8 weeks to begin weight training/abdominal exercises with weight above 5lbs, but I'd like to start speed walking soon if possible.
Hi all! I'm new to Bariatric Pal! I was sleeved on February 29, 2016! Since thats a leap day, I'll probably celebrate my surgiversary on March 1st in the future!
