Hang in there. It may be post op swelling but you may need to go to emergency to be checked out and hydrated The first week was not good but now 7 months on 25kg lighter. So worth it but perhaps ring your surgeon for advice

I had my surgery yesterday 36 hours and counting. I have no shoulder pain but the abdominal wind pain is severe. Taking oxy codeine and paracetamol which helps but you certainly know when it wears off. My biggest issue is that I take a lot of medication for a pre existing medical condition and an having to dissolve crushed medication in Water which then leaves me little room for liquid diet, especially Protein sources. Any suggestions welcomed. I am from Australia so drug names may be different. Despite all the pain I am excited and optimistic about the next phase Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
