  3. One of my biggest issues was germ. I let it go unchecked for many years and just suffered through the vomiting every few days. I then got on a regimen of Prilosec which helped I measly. However I do have full blown barrels esophagus which I never knew about until I got the endoscopy for my sleeve surgery. My dr said that the surgery should help. I also had hiatal hernia repair at the same time and am 5 days post op. I hope it helps the reflux disappear. I will let you know! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  4. Thank you.. I just wanted to make sure. It may also be due to the fact that I am on anti spasm medicine as well since I had hiatal hernia repair surgery at the same time. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  5. Hi everyone. I had a question I thought I would run by You experts before asking my dr. I am following the rules to a t of what I was sent home with and I am 5 days post op. Based on everything I have read, I have heard it is very difficult to drink liquids the first few weeks. I get a little gurgling sound, but that is pretty much it. I alternate 1 ounce Protein drink and 1.5 -2 ounces of Water (more water because of a bladder infection) every 10-15 minutes till I hit my 60 g of protein. If I am able to do this fairly easily does that mean that my gastric sleeve size may be bigger? I hope this doesn't make me sound like an idiot for asking... I am just curious.. I am so glad I found this app! What I have read so far is very helpful so thank you contributors! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  6. My Dr. Said I was fine to chew sugar free gum but to be very careful to not swallow it. I must say it helps me with the dry mouth. I am 5 days post op... Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
