  2. Congratulations that's how I felt when I was up and on the elliptical one day after surgery
  3. I have been at the gym on the elliptical for 60mins on a level 15 everyday since I came home from the hospital. I'm also post op 1 wk yesterday. I asked my surgeon before I left the hospital was this ok since it was my regular routine and she said it was fine. But she strongly advised against any lifting what so ever
  4. Gyms, free clinics, some community centers, that's the only public scales I can think of
  5. I finally was Able to go Today and it was diarrhea I know I'm sorry if this is tmi but I was excited I didn't have a hard time. It was exactly how I wanted. But I must confess I ate organic onion dip with some small pretzels sticks at a bday party today. Idk if this helped or hurt me but I'm satisfied.
  6. Not the 12th but I was on the 29th.
  7. U can sponge bath, definite chapstick and I dont have a cpap machine but if you do my dr did want me to bring it
  8. They didn't allow me to shower so honestly all I used was the clothes I wore there and a hair brush. Everything else could've been left home
  9. My leak test was exactly 24hrs after surgery and the contrast that u have to drink is beyond disgusting. They approved me to drink tho within an hr
  10. No dont I truly appreciate it. I'm partially scared to go for the first time cause idk if my exit even works the same. [emoji23] but I will keep. All of this in mind. I purchased some smoove move tea my 1st Day home to keep on standby and I'm wondering should I start taking it, or is it normal not to go within the 1st wk home. When did u actually pass your first bowel movement after surgery?
  11. I was sleeved 2/29/16 & while at the hospital I never passed gas I only burped. 3 days after finally returning home I began to pass gas and thats all folks! I get it I only been putting broth, Protein, Jello and Water in my body so what is there really to push out? But when should I start to become concerned. This doesn't feel normal. Please share how long did it take everyone else.. Sent from my ALCATEL ONE TOUCH 4037T using the BariatricPal App
  12. I only had to liquid diet 2 days B4 my surgery. After surgery I could only sponge my mouth with cold Water for 24hrs until I had my leak test performed. They wouldn't even let me have ice cubes. That had to be one of the worst part for me. It's right up there with the pain. After I got the leak test done and passed they served me broth, tea, and Jello. After staying 2 days at tufts I came home on the phase 3 diet which is still basically liquid. It's easier now for me tho because I have no appetite. Sent from my ALCATEL ONE TOUCH 4037T using the BariatricPal App
  13. I felt this pain in the days leading up to surgery. 3rd day post op I definitely tested my limits by cooking dinner for my family. Fried chicken, rice and Beans, and green beans. I really wanted to taste the fried chicken but I drank half of a premier Protein while cooking and my hunger went out the window. This might not work for all but in my case I still have a child to feed so its just one of those things that had to be done sooner or later. Hopefully it gets better for u! 14. 1st for me and I would put the pain chart right below giving birth. Although u don't feel the procedure, when I did come too I felt like I was hit by a mack truck. Thankful for drugs! But Hey don't take it from me I'm a big baby when it comes to pain Sent from my ALCATEL ONE TOUCH 4037T using the BariatricPal App

  16. Got it the day I came home and that is very weird for me because I have a mirena and haven't seen one of those in over 4mos. I googled it and it seems to be pretty common Sent from my ALCATEL ONE TOUCH 4037T using the BariatricPal App

  18. My first Protein purchase was fuzzy navel Syntrax Protein Powder from Amazon which has about 23grams per scoop. Wasn't really too in love with it at 1st but I was able to tolerate it While working out. I mix with ice cubes and 8-13 ozs of cold Water. I've concluded anything can be tolerated if really thirsty. Since being home Wednesday after having vsg I've begun drinking Premier Protein strawberries and cream. I'm not a fan of anything milky at all but it does have 30grams of protein in 1 container so I had to try since the Dr kept pushing the fact I need to get my protein in. I must say it's pretty good. I bought the chocolate and vanilla flavors as well but haven't gotten that far yet. I've also tried twisted cherry syntrax nectar and I loved it. Hope this helps!
