  1. Received notice that my surgery is officially scheduled for June 20th! So excited!!!
  2. I completely understand what you mean! I've said to a few friends at work that I'm looking into weight loss options and even surgeries because I want to lose weight but nothing else. They don't know that's it's all ready to go. I said to my husband that I look forward to taking out my winter clothes and bringing them to the consignment shop.
  3. I also teach eighth graders! They can keep you on your toes, that's for sure!!!
  4. They scheduled my surgery even though I'm waiting on the sleep study results and the psychologist evaluation. I got to choose the date and all. I guess they figure they can always reschedule if the need arises.
  5. I almost went over Spring Break for surgery but was afraid I wouldn't be able to back after only one week. I'm just more anxious to get this under way!!!
  6. I'm feeling extremely anxious and excited about having the surgery. My students think I'm counting to the last day of school... I'm really counting until my surgery!!!
  7. I am hoping for surgery on June 13th. One Monday a month however, my doctor operates at a different hospital and there is a chance it will be that day. If so, I'll be going June 20th. I have all but my sleep study done (rescheduled for next Friday), and my behavioral appointment which just needed to be rescheduled to May 2nd. Otherwise, I would have had everything done next week. I am so excited about going for surgery. I have been contemplating it for a long time (several years) so I look forward to the changes this may bring!
