  3. I do have SAMs and costco. I have to get a membership so that I can get that. Also do you eat the Protein bars? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. Not rambling at all lol! What Protein shakes do you use? I use baritrack chocolate bliss and it's 20 grams of protein. I try to drink at least one a day but most days I can't stomach it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. I'm actually having trouble getting all my Protein and Water in. I have been drinking more coffee than usual but that's because I don't want to eat. I don't know if I'm doing it right as my crappy $7 scale said I put in 10lbs last night. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I'm just glad to hear from you! I was really worried about you. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  9. Hi I had my gastric sleeve surgery on 2/16 and it took about 4 months in total to my surgery day. If you do all the required tests then insurance approves it fairly quickly. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  11. You will! I've lost 22lbs since my surgery and I'm hoping I get through this "stall" soon. Lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. I was sleeved feb 16 and I had my surgery done by Dr. Sadek/Dr. Donaire. I'm not familiar with your doctors unfortunately. Get ready for the beginning of your new life is what my doctor kept telling me lol. Stay positive and see if you connect with your doctors. I woke up from surgery pain free and they kept me pain free. Good luck and keep me posted. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  14. I am so sorry about your loss but I'm so happy to hear that you didn't give in and just eat the pain away. It's so hard to stay on track when there is always so many bumps in the road. I have my 2nd doctors appt the first week in April but I keep feeling like either I'm eating too much or I'm just not losing. Don't know as I don't weigh myself at home. All I can think about is "am I losing weight or am I eating too much"! It's a horrible cycle! Lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. Hi I used Dr. Donaire/Dr. Sadek at bariatric associates of Nj. They are amazing! Came out if surgery pain free and they kept me pain free. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. Think this way....if you can stretch your stomach then what complications can there be? My worry is am I eating too much or am I losing weight? I don't see it myself but my husband tells me that I've lost weight. I think everyone worried about something because it's an emotional roller coaster. Don't think about complications in 20 years think about what you'll be able to do and what you'll be doing in 20 years that you could have never imagined doing if you hadn't lost the weight. 17. I was sleeved on February 16 and there are emotional ups and downs. What kind of complications are you worrying about? You've taken that big step and you've got this! Beginning of a healthy new life, that's what I focus on. How much have you lost? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  21. This is def a life changer. I look in the mirror and don't really see any weight loss I guess that's normal. Lol I am on two Protein shakes a day and bariatric Vitamins. My doctor actually carries them in his office. How much weight did you all lose month by month? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  22. I haven't tried Beans yet. I am on the "mushy" meal plan also. I've had eggs and didn't have any problems eating salmon either. When can you eat green vegetables or salad? That is not on my list at all. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  23. Thank you so much for welcoming me! I do have a NUT but you all have or are going through it. I had the sleeve and hope I made the right choice. I am scheduled to see my NUT next week for my 1 month follow up. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  24. I had my surgery on February 16, 2016. I'm a little lost on what I can and can not eat at this point. I started this journey at 243lbs at 5'6 and I was down 20lbs at first weigh in. I'm so happy I made this life changing decisions because I had to get healthy for myself and for my kids who are 10 and 3. I'm a handicapped mom with a supportive husband and I'm very lucky for that. I'd love to hear your experiences and how much weight should I expect to lose and in what time frame? Also maybe share some recipes with me? Your daily intake? I'm from New Jersey and would love a pal to have contact with please. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
