  1. Hi all, I'm back from a week holiday at the beach....absolutely lovely to be able to relax and unwind. Sounds like kiwi and shell are doing great after surgery My weight loss has started again, so I'm really pleased with that! So far so good on my journey Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  3. Loving my new food options...have found my tastebuds have changed and have found that detoxing from sugar really resets your preferred foods....Tuesday week will be here before you know it! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  4. I've entered the stall, but not fussed as I expected it....however if it lasts more than 2 weeks I'm sure I will be upset lol Doctor cleared me on Thursday for all foods, just told me to wait for bread. when is your surgery date? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  5. Hey kiwi, I was allowed 1 cup veggies per day and that was my saving grace....I wouldn't stress too much on that one.... Sounds like you're doing great, hang in there! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  6. The puree stage isnt too bad, definitely notice the change with clothes. The major thing I've noticed is that pre surgery I had severe knee pain and could barely walk, now I find it normal to walk and exercise such a good feeling Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  7. Hey kiwi, I'm going really well. I've lost 8 kgs since surgery and 13 since pre-op. I've been feeling really good and started exercising but am waiting for the stall lol. It seems like time drags but when you are a month out you can't believe how fast it's gone....I'm not sure how long you would need to take off work though. 9. Sounds like you've had it a bit rough bluesky. I'm on day one of puree today and I am LOVING it! Lol. I had puréed meatballs ( lots of the sauce) and I think I could be happy eating that for the next 2 weeks hope things get better soon. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  10. I've felt nauseous once but I think it was because I drank too much at the one time.... Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  11. Welcome back slider, I made some pretty kick a** protein pops (even if I do say so myself) with coconut milk, choc protein powder and some peanut butter.....blitzed all together and frozen. It is one way to get the protein down lol Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  13. No problems kiwi, just bored with liquids lol. I've lost 5.4 kgs since op and 10.4 kgs since beginning optifast great results that I definitely couldn't have done without the surgery!!! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  14. I agree the Water is hard....looking forward to next stage Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  15. Congrats kiwi, You won't regret it. I think the hardest bit is the head drama of wanting food but knowing you can't because of fluids stage. I'm craving different flavours but still have 2 days to go before I hit puree stage. So glad to hear your date, now the optifast and wait.....good luck Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
