I wouldn't cough or sneeze, and I suffer from allergies pretty bad. Even when I wanted to laugh I would have to take it easy and breath through it. Now I'm 16 days out and I barely notice it. I thought the one closest to the band of my bra would give me more issues, but nope...it's the one I assume he pulled my stomach out of, almost in the center of my stomach. You are doing great! I ask my Dr about it. she said yes they pulled my stomach out of it and she stitched it twice one was my tissues and then my skin. so, pretty much it's the deep stitch that kills me...and drains my energy so bad... Everyone's will be different as well as different states/hospitals/physicians equals different rules... my surgeons fee is 20% since I have not met my pop cost as of yet 20% is $400 which has to be paid before my date was set... then there is a facility fee from the hospital which is also 20% or what is needed to complete my out of pocket cost... I'm glad you finally got approved! I hope it doesn't set you back any but if it does I hope it's not for too long. Keep us posted so we can pray for you/send good thoughts - whatever you believe in. I have an appointment at the hospital on 11/11 to do pre-op stuff. I feel like my life is full of appointments...had a pap today, mammogram is ordered. Sent from my SM-N930T using the BariatricPal App The pre-op stuff is like to get the soap/wash for the shower the night before surgery. And any additional blood work or whatever they may need. Go over meds, what to take and not to take day of surgery. I feel like I already know all that, but I have to go regardless. But it's actually at the hospital, not the surgeon's office. My PCP just wants to go over my lipid panel, separate from the surgery stuff. But I was due for my annual well women exam soon, since my surgery is the 18th I wanted to knock that out, so that appointment was with a Gynecologist today and he ordered the mammogram. I hope I can knock that out before surgery too. I'm waiting on a call from the diagnostic place to get that scheduled. The only thing that has to do with surgery is the appointment at the hospital. I just brought up the other stuff because I'm complaining. Apparently they are running behind. I called yesterday and the rep said most are being approved on the 14th or 15th business day. They have til Friday for me. So yesterday was day 15 of waiting for my approval. then my doctors office called and got the call esculate stating we have waited 14 days and one day to long.... and they approved me on the day of the escalation(day 15)... my initial date of surgery was Nov. 10th but I am sure it's now pushed back! Have you call United health care themselves insteadt of your optum nurse now I called United health care to see if all My paperwork was submitted they said everything was submitted to them on Monday but My doctors Office told me that they were going to submit everything last Monday. I feel like most optum nurses have no clue what's going on. Submitted to insurance or they approved you and it was sent to your doctor?I thought about emailing my Optum nurse today just to check in, but decided to wait until Wednesday. The waiting is the worst! I almost want to start researching the appeal process because I'm terrified that's what's coming (a denial). She said it does not take long to get a responds for an approval, so I should here back soon. She states that they will give them the max of 30days but it's usually way quicker thn that because there coordinator works with only works with one person from uhc. So it makes turn aroubd time quick and easy
