  1.    "Henry" reacted to a post in a topic: Low BMI - any out there!
  2. I agree - my BMI was 33, and my only health problem was with my knees, but I knew that if I kept it up and didn't get the weight off, worse things were coming. I lost 11lb preop and have lost 19lb in the 5 weeks since. (30lb since 2/1). One issue: with a lower BMI, you may have some good habits already - I already had a good schedule at the gym and was "fit but fat." I couldn't work out for a month while healing from surgery and really felt it - walking isn't the same as a good workout for me. I started back to the gym sort of early, but am still working back up to my fitness level preservers. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. How long did you have to take prophylactic antibiotics after your surgery? Mine are making me SO sick.
  4. How much are you eating and exercising? My VSG is next week and I'd love to follow in your footsteps! Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal
