  4. Im am also from adelaide. I am inthe process of deciding between the mgb and the sleeve. I am struggling to decide which is right for me, though my surgeon is suggesting the sleeve as the first step with a revision if weight loss is not sufficent, but he believes it will be who are you going through? My doctor also suggested the same, but i prefered the option of end result....

I am new to this entire forum, I am 2 weeks post lap band to MGB, I thought I would get some tips in here, but all I see is a bunch of bitching, as stated already this is the MGB section of the forum. I am a male, I am 58 years old and from Australia, people need to chill out and be supportive, isn't this what this forum is for - thanks, as you were!!!! If this bitching is the way this forum operates then I won't be around long, I am here for advice and support. (BTW, 'bloke' is Australian for male - ) Also Australian, and have just joined Aussie Bloke, how are you getting on after your surgery? Are things going well? Have you had any negative impacts?

  7. Hello everyone, I am new here, Im Suzie, 36, single parent, from Adelaide Australia. I will be having my Single anastomosis bypass (MGB) done on the 30th of March 2016, I am currently going through the pre op Optifast stage to ready myself for the operation. My surgeon is the wonderful and most knowledgeable Doctor Michael France who operates out of the Ashford Private Hospital here in Adelaide, South Australia. My stats are: SW 185.4kg May 2015 CW 163.5kg Feb 2016 Total loss to date 21.9kg..... Will try to update again in 4 weeks time before i head in for the big day.
