  3. Hi everyone! So, I went in for RNY but came out with a VSG. The surgeon determined he couldn't safer perform the bypass based the density (read fat) in my abdomen. I'm two weeks out, and I'm finally getting better at wrapping my head around all that. Struggling hard to take in my protein and fluids. I just don't get hungry. I know so many changes and adjustments are in store for me...just have to find my patience. Inoperable everyone else is doing well and having fruitful journeys!!
  4. Hi Everyone! I'm new to this forum and am looking forward to learning from and getting to know you. My RNY is on 03/14/2016, and I cannot wait. I've been in the preparation process since June. I'm on day 10 of the 2 week all liquid diet. At first I was miserable - headaches, crabby, hungry. I'm OK now...I just miss chewing something...even a piece of celery or a carrot!! All in good time. Best wishes to all who are recovering or who have procedures coming up!! We got this!!
