  1. I had my one week post op today and I am down 15 pounds since surgery!
  2. I just had my first check up and down 15 pounds since surgery Feb 8th!
  3. Wow! You are doing great! I have only lost 9 since last Monday.
  4. Did anyone get sleeved on 2/8, and what is your progress? Have yall weighed?
  5. I think a few people are being too harsh and you did the best you could with what you were offered. Keep it up and don't listen to negative people. ; )
  6. Jasb88, it will be worth it in the end. Hang in there!
  7. Hiccups are also bad. They hurt.
  8. I also tried adding unflavored protein to chicken broth and it did not dissolve and I just could not do the texture. Yuck.
  9. My NUT suggested getting pineapple juice and drinking it when food feels stuck. It will dissolve it.
  10. I am 6 days post op and I had a bowel movement after my 3rd day. If you are 2 weeks out and still not had one, you might consult your surgeon.
  11. It's like quick stabbing pains. They don't last long and go away, but always come back. Pain meds do help though.
  12. I am 6 days out and having severe pain on the top of my belly in the middle, just under my boobs, almost in between them. Is anyone else experiencing or has experienced this pain? Is it just gas? It is unbearable at times.
  13. For pureed stage, you can have anything that can be pureed or has a mushy texture. Pudding, grits, runny oatmeal, cream of wheat, runnier texture refried beans.
  14. I am having no problems getting my liquids and protein in. I am still very uncomfortable at the top of my tummy under my breasts. I also have a lot of gas pain still and my largest incision is still painful when I walk.
  15. My follow up is also Tuesday! Good luck!
  16. Same pain site for me. Top of my tummy in the middle right under my boobs.
  17. Sounds like everyone has about the same plan. I was sleeved 6 days ago on the 8th and I am still on full liquids (broth, strained soups with no lumps, popcicles, etc). I get mushy foods on weeks 3 and 4, and nothing solid until week 5. I would talk to your surgeon. That seems way too early for solids.
  18. I was just sleeved Feb 8th and I also have not lost very much, but I do believe it is from the fluid and gas! I still have gas pain and I cannot sleep in bed because my stomach pulls down because I sleep on my side. I am so relieved to find other sleeves who are in the same spot in their journey! I posted on another site and people were not as friendly and tod me to cut myself some slack and I just want info because there is not a lot of first and 2nd week post op info out there. : )
