  3. I had my gastric bypass in December and I am very close to your stats. A lot of people are totally shocked that I qualified for the surgery, but being short... Well you don't need to be that heavy to get your BMI to 40. Even though I was "only" 233 pounds at my highest and 227 at surgery, I still got winded going up stairs, had joint and knee pain, and was constantly fatigued... I totally hear you when it comes to wanting to be skinny!! It's all I thought about before surgery and it wasn't just to look better, it was to feel better!! Best of luck to you! It's going to feel awesome! I've lost 36 pounds so far and the difference is incredible!
