  1. I noticed the same thing I have a prolapsed bladder and since surgery I have no issues. My surgeon told me that once I lose the weight that my bladder issues would subside or go away all together.
  2. I'm curios to know how long did it take for the insurance to approve you? I have Empire BCBS also
  3. That's amazing and very encouraging thanks so much for sharing. I'm hoping this will allow me to do more with my husband. He is very athletic and I want to be able to keep up and do more with him. I'm 40 and we have been together 21 years.
  4. I'm going through the same thing with Empire BCBS today was suppose to be my last visit #6 and know I have to go back in March for visit #7 before it can be approved. I hope the process is fast. The office coordinator told me don't worry and that I should be approved for my 3/18 surgery date. Fingers crossed
  5. Good for you I have BCBS PPO of Suffolk County I hope they are as fast with their approval process.
  6. That's amazing I have to return to work quickly and I'm so worried about my pain and my ability to get around.
  7. I found out today that I also will have a hernia repair with my VSG! From what I have read not too many people report a delay in healing time. If anything I'm reading that there will be a decrease in gastric reflux! I'm so looking forward to that. I sleep with Prilosec at my bed side.
  8. I'm waiting on my insurance but my doctor is hoping for mid March
  9. I'm from Long Island and will be using Dr.Lee from West Islip. I was suppose to get surgery this month but due to a change with my insurance requirements it's been pushed to next month. Anyone else use this doctor?
