I am really interested in this conference. I wanted to attend the one in Dallas but with the travel costs it was way to much. I would prefer NJ because of the price and I am in NJ. But I will still attend in NYC if the price is not outrageous. Please keep me up todate on the details. Thank You!

I go to dr. Iqbal's office also. Dr. Attia is the one who does lap bands. He is a great doctor. Nice office staff. Dr. Iqbal did give me my last fill because dr. Attia was on vacation. I do think that dr. Iqbal is probably doing the lap band procedures by now. They do them at the south jersey regional medical center in vineland (right off rt 55)

I ate lunch at noon and had a fill at 3pm. Everything was good. Also, my doctor does not require liquids afterwards. He said I could go home and have dinner. I did not have any problems after eating.

I was banded on 3/24. The last mandatory hospital class I went to, they told us that no matter when you had your last period you would probably get it again right after surgery.

I won't know my surgery time until Friday afternoon. They did tell me that I had to be at the hospital 2 hours before surgery. But if my surgery is at 6am I just have to show up at 6 because thats when they all get there. I'm hoping for 6am. I'm ready for this.

I am also scheduled for MARCH 24TH. I went to the doctor today, the final time before surgery. No pre op diet. He said to eat a light meal night before and of course nothing to eat or drink after midnight.

I Just Asked My Doctor About This. I Am Being Banded On 3/24/08. I Am Scheduled For My Depo Shot On 3/26/08. My Doctor Said I Can Get The Shot.
