  1. Hi. I'm there with you too! Banded 6/17....dropped a quick 20 lbs and then waited anxiously for my first fill which was 8/5. I felt immediate restriction and have definitely been needing less to feel full. There have been many more instances of bites just not going down. However, I cannot get the number on the scale to move. I've been excersing, drinking lots and trying to eat as little as possible....but my scale seems to be stuck. I just keep hoping that it has to pay off....that number must move at some point!
  2. I had surgery last Tuesday and feel the same way. I am so tired of thinking about my belly! The gas pain returned last night and has been horrible. I've been walking and eating those gasX strips.....hopefully this won't last long. When I'm not eating, I'm hungry and then when I do have a soup or something, I think I hurt because I ate it. I'm ready to not think about me! I have 4 little kids at home and a whole lot more to do than "bellyache!"
  3. I'm in more pain than I expected. Very sore and very gassy. I just thought after 4 c-sections, this would be no big deal. But I am hurting! Hopefully I can move around a lot today and work some of this out. Thanks for asking.
  4. Hi....I too am being banded tomorrow. I live in Florence, but am going to Dr. Miles in Bham. Very nervous today, but hope this whole thing will be the start of a better life! I, too, have some scar tissue issues (I've had four c-sections), but Dr. Miles assured me that there would not be a problem. Good luck!
  5. Where in Alabama do you live? I live in florence, but go to Dr. Miles in Bham....there are good docs I've heard about in Decatur, Huntsville and Mobile.
