Had my 5 fill today 8cc in my 10cc band I pray this will do the trick cause I have not lost anything in about 2 months actually gained about 5 pounds. I am not ready to throw in the towel yet. May 20 will be one year and have only lost 40 t0 45 lbs. Hopefully by my band anniversary (sp) I would at least like to have lost 50 lbs.:thumbup:

Hey all just got back from my 2 week check up and I am down 16lbs! The best news is I can now have mushies! I never knew tuna would taste sooo good. Dr very pleased and wants me to be up to 3 miles a day by 2 months out. Just wanted to check in and spread my victory. Mecia

I just read your blog I think you need to change your weight for 1/17/08 I know you don't weight 280! I really enjoyed you blog congrats on a job well done. Hope to fill those same size shoes on day.

I am so happy for you guys .My dr. submitted mine on Thur. or so they said and I can't find anything for me except and old approval from 2 years ago. Maybe sooooon!

I started the process on 1/16/08 and spoke with the Dr. office today and they are just now sending the paperwork to Tricare. I have completed all the preop testing and nut & psych eval. I just hope everything there goes smooth. I did not get an estimated time period. I think each Dr. has thier own protocol.

You may be right! I am getting a little discouraged. This stress is only making me snack more. It is like my Dr does not want to take Tricare at all..

Can you give me the number you called maybe I can find out something that way.

I have gone to the seminar seen the surgeron nut eval blood emmi EKG and psych eval I am just waiting on approval. I have prime I did not know standard was faster. I will have it done at Martha Jefferson Hospital here. We are not near a military facility. I had my hystorectomy done Porstmouth. My husband is retired Air Force. Well keep in touch and let me know how things are going and I will do likewise. Maybe next year this time we will be in onederland.

I am in Charlottesville we moved here from Hampton and boy do I miss Hampton. I am not approved yet it seems to be taking forever. The coodinator says this is her first Tricare. I hope she sends all the proper paqperwork. Have you had the sugery yet?

Thanks! Since we talked I found site and registered but now I have to wait for a security code for about 10 days. I am so hoping I can get this done before it gets real hot here. Have you had the sugery yet? If so how long was your approval process?

Thanks I am so ready to get the rest of my new life started. My insurance just started covering the LBS the 1st of Jan 08 and I just know that this is was a sign that this is my year. I will be sucessful this time. 15 lbs that is unreal I know you feel like you are dreaming and you will wake up to find it not real. I think if my weight comes off that fast I will have to pinch myself. Keep us posted on your progress.

Alisa I have read a lot of post that someone was doing that very thing and I was thinking hum good idea but then I realized if do the same things I have done before I wiil get the same results. I have to start thinking thin:) I have my 1st Dr. appt on 2/13 and I have been reading lots of posts trying to see what I might expect. I am so excited to finally be able to stop taking some if not all my meds and be able to keep up with my DH again. Summer is coming and I hopefully won't have to wear all the big hot cloths for once in a long time. You are off to a great start!! Much luck to to and I just know this is going to be the help you have always needed. Go You!!
