  1. Hi Bonnie. I noticed that you said that you had too many fills and unfills to keep up with. I am a little anxious with my band. I originally received a 1.2cc fill and had virtually no restriction. I then recieved a 2.0 cc fill and after 4 days, could barely swallow water. I then received a .6cc unfill (back to 1.4 cc) and now I can eat anything again. Needless to say, my weight fluctuates with every change.... I am at a loss as to what to do next. I follow the rules and exercise, should it really be like this?
  2. Hi there! I had my surgery in February and I am experiencing the exact same symptoms plus some "gurgling" type of sensation. Eating is very painful right now and yes, there is a lot of mucus. I spoke with my doc and he stated that it was due to Allergies. It's really crappy......who would have ever thought. I live in a state where this may be an ongoing factor. Still encourage you to see your doc just in case it is something different. I am really curious as to how this can be treated.
  3. Hi There. It is my first time on this site and I am so glad that it exists. I am 13 days post op and went to lunch with some friends. I ordered the Creamed Mushroom soup and was extremely careful to pick out any chunks. It appears that I might have missed one (stop laughing). I think that something is stuck. I can drink just fine, but I feel it. I have never Pbed before and because I just got this band, I am ultra paranoid. I am heading downstairs for some pineapple juice within the next few minutes in hope that this works. Any other advice? Anyone out there who's band has slipped (ultimately my biggest fear).
