They finally submit my paperwork to my insurance. Now I can spam my insurance till I get an approval!

You can call the number on your insurance card and ask them if they received your paperwork yet.

I haven't called my center yet because I feel kind of guilty bothering here. I've just been calling my insurance lol congratsDon't feel guilty - it's their job. Be your own advocate. I called today and was told I was all set. I wouldn't have known if I didn't call. I know, I emailed her this morning at 9 but she didn't answer and they close at 5 so chances are I won't be getting a response till Tuesday if any. It sucks but I'll keep trying. It's been two days since my coordinator told me she had my paper work and I'm wondering for people who called their insurance company how long did it take for them to see that it was sent it. Thank you. I thought it was only me lolWhen I started I was like 41 bmi but now I'm at 39. I however was told that the first weight is the one that's counted and my surgeon encouraged me to lose and not gain over my starting weight. Since you've all submitted your things in I have a question. Did you guys have to do a chest X-ray? I know all insurances are different but it seems like most people have to do one and it wasn't in my check list. I'm hoping my coordinator didn't miss that or something. It is pretty likely that your surgery will be cancelled since they test you for pregnancy right before the surgery because you will just not be getting enough nourishment to provide for yourself and child. Congratulations on the baby! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

My insurance coordinator told me as well that it won't be a problem as long as there isn't a net gain.

My coordinator is like that too. I can only get a word with her through email and sometimes she doesn't even answer me. It's super annoying but I just try to tell myself I'm not the only one she's dealing with /:I know it's just frustrating cause she was just out on vacation for two weeks, and then the last two weeks she has been out of the office by noon at least half the time. So I can't imagine how anything gets done if she is never there.
