yea he is great....i was just there yesterday for my second fill....had a lil set back....he wanted to see me in two months (which was back in sept....) so in that two months spand....:thumbup: i gained 3 pounds....so thats why he filled me again....and now :tt1: im feeling great....feels a lil tight but thats ok....:rolleyes2: sadly no i havent been to a meeting yet....but i think i should start going....have you been?

i was getting that gross feeling too....but i stayed with the Flintstones gummies....those are hella bomb give those a try....i bet you'll love em....i know i do :biggrin:

May 19th im getting banded....its been a lil battle with insurance only had to appeal once but i finally got approved....so i guess now that the time is nearing....any advice from you pros lol....i do have one question....any suggestions on like the protein shakes like which brand did you find tasting better and easier to deal with....anything i can add to make it just taste that much better....

:thumbup: I SWEAR I AM ABOUT TO PULL MY HAIR OUT....FIRST MY DOCTORS OFFICE MESSED UP ON MY FIRST REQUEST....THEY TRIED TO SEND IT AGAIN....BUT FOR TWO WEEKS MY UHC INSURANCE KEPT TELLING MY THE SECOND REQUEST WAS STILL PENDING STILL PENDING AND STILL PENDING....WELL TODAY THEY THAT CAUSE THE FIRST ONE WAS DENIED THAT THIS SECOND REQUEST WAS CANCELLED AND I HAVE TO START AND APPEAL....:blink:AND I WAS LIKE WHAT:scared2::cursing:FOR TWO WEEKS I BEEN CALLING AND YOU COULD HAVE TOLD ME TO START AN APPEAL BUT YOU NOW TELL ME TO START IT WHEN IT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE ALREADY!!!! :cursing:I see you all have UHC and got approved with a BMI under 40....in the month of April of '03 just one of my weights was around 301 and i was about 6'2" and my BMI was 38.7 and i was denied cause of that....my surgery date was scheduled for today....TODAY!!!! but on thursday i got a call from my doctors office and they told me that my insurance denied it....but i dont understand is how can they deny it and i was told just a few weeks before that that i was approved and i am scheduled to go into surgery on the 1st of april....then i get a call and they tell me sorry its denied....any help....my doctors office resubmitted it on thursday....and at this moment it is still pending....can anyone give me any answers?

Well i just got the call today....i got called up and im so excited....April 1st will be the day my life begins as a new man....i have been over weight for as long as i can remember....i was always the biggest and tallest kid in class from 4th all the way up to 8th grade....for 24 years this battle of fighting my weight will be over cause i will be gettin the tool to help....ever since i have joined this website i have always came and checked the mens forum to get help....motivation....even to see how you guys did with your success....and now i think im ready for my battle and imma win this war!!!! so im tellin everyone....get a good last look at the old me....cause you will never see me like this again!!!! :):sad:

anyone from the 831 area....im in salinas....my doctor is dr. mark vierra....i know a few people that have had the by-pass from him but i went for the lapband....which i am getting on the 1st of april :eek: im so excited:thumbup: can you tell....im so glad i found this local forum....so expect a few more post from me in the future....
