  1. Thank you for suggesting this board. It is an excellant idea which I haven't seen on any other sites.
  2. Congratulations Mick, I had the same reaction to finding this site. I am yet to be banded, but this site is so helpful. Keep it up!
  3. Do any of you know if there is a specific time that one is asked to wait to get pregnant after getting banded?
  4. hi again jaunderwood. I wasn't paying attention to your previous message and didnt realize how far along you were in the process. I probably should not have mentioned what I read on the other site. Good luck on your approval, I have heard the same thing on the timing. If you still want to know about the other site, I know it had obesity in the name, possibly obesitysurgery. I could look for it again (I saw it before Thanksgiving, and then hadnt been very actively researching during the holidays), if you want.
  5. hey jaunderwood, nice to meet you here. I did consider Kaza. Then I read on another site about a woman who had a bad experience with fills at his office. I dont know why but that scared me off I guess. I know that it could happen anywhere but I also know that he is new and all so that is why I am still looking. Thanks for the suggestion.
  6. All these posts are so helpful. I think I seriously need to reconsider my time schedule for getting banded and getting pregnant (neither one is really in my control either I guess).
  7. I am so glad I found this site too. It has all kinds of great information. I am still searching for a doc right now in the Louisville area because I live in Etown.
