  2. sounds like somewhere I would stay clear of. You don't need this kind of help.
  3. I take my meds with my protein drinks. Just crush them and blend them in.Couldn,t take the taste they had with applesauce.
  4. Hey there everyone, I was banded on March 10 and have not had a pain or gas or anything. Not even sore. Wasn't expecting to come through this good. I am now trying different things to get liquids in for a coulpe of weeks. Glad I made this decision.
  5. Got my band on March 10th and I am doing well so far. No pain whatsoever. Not having any gas pain or anything. I am amazed at how well things have gone so far. I however am a little confused with the eating routine. I may need a little guidance as a typical day of getting liquids in. Can anyone give me an hr. by hr. rough idea with this? Dr.Lucktong in Roanoke, Virginia was my Dr.
  6. I would like some ideas of what a typical day of eating is for the first 2 weeks following surgery. Hour by hour of your experience with what you eat and how often. I am trying to do a list of things to purchase. I need step by step help to get started. My band date is 3 10 08 and I am a little confused. Any help would be appreciated:confused:
  7. I am from Va. also near Blacksburg. Home of Va Tech. I am due to be banded on March 10th and I am the same ,nervous and trying to get all the info I can. I am very excited as I have a lot of medical problems this may help with. My weight was 310 and I am now 286. Trying to loose some more before surgery. I am tired of spending most of my paycheck on medicine and food.

  10. :crying:Hi, There has been some kind of error , I am receiving e-mail notifications that sounds like I have already had surgery. I am not due to be banded until 10 March 2008. I think you all are intending your post to go to Happy one, subject -banded today . I am trying to find out all info on what to expect and any other tips I can get. Any and all info would be appreciated. I have a lot of co morbidities such as sleep apnea, diabetes, high blood pressure, high colesterol, I have to sleep with oxygen. I would like to get a life back. I still work but it is getting harder every day. I have been trying to get to where I am at for 1 and 1/2 years. Every corner I turned I had to have some more test done. I feel as if I have had a very thorough going over. Now that the time is getting closer I am anxious but nervous. how about you people that have already been through this. Any comments on your experiences from recovery to food tips.
  11.:thumbup:Hi Leslie, your post made my day. Sounds as if things went really well for you. I am due to be banded the 10th of March and I am trying to get an idea of what people are experiencing. You have made me feel somewhat more calm about the unknown. Thanks and good luck with your progress.
