So Stampladi did you get your band? If you did how is everything going? Let me know how it went I am thinking of using the same doctor if of course my insurance will pay for it. I'll be glad to hear from you!!

I was wondering before you ever figure out if the insurance will pay, what do you have to pay for out of pocket? And what is it paying for? I know there are some kind of tests you have to go through and do they cost and can anyone give me the low down on any of this. Thanks for any input.

Thanks for all ya'lls help this is wonderful. Now I just have to pray that the doctor recommends that I have the surgery. The Barix Clinic I have talked to them they said i was not meeting the qualifications. I am so heavy my back hurts, and it has never hurt before. I do back breaking work and never had back problems. Breathing problems sometimes. It almost crushed my motivation. I want to go through I just don't want to be rejected by the Dr. or insurance. i don't do well with rejections. I just want to give up everytime.

I also have the TRS BCBS. Was it hard for you to get them to help pay for your surgery. Oh and just realized today is the day you have your surgery! Let us know how it went! Good luck.

I live around Mckinney, Tx and looking for a Dr. who has done this surgery and has many successfull surgeries. If you have been to Dr. here and has been successfull no problems please let me in on this Dr. I had one Dr. in mind but he was an out-of-network Dr. for me and I am trying for an in network. If you have BCBS of Texas and had this surgery please referr me please. Cassie
