    My mom really freaked out so did her sisters (my aunts) though I asked my Mom not to tell anyone. So not a good experience. I think people's view of the surgery is based on outdated information. And most people have no idea what the surgery is like in 2016. Right I am telling no one.

    This my first post. I figure it's time to jump in.... I have Cigna too. I am waiting on approval. Hopefully in just a couple days. My surgeon told me the last appointment must be great than 90 days from the first visit. That is most important. I have some problems. My PCP refused to medically clear me because I wasn't "that overweight". BMI 40, arthritis in both knees, diabetes, high bp. I just went to another doctor and got the clearance. Nutritionist and psychologist were easy to get done. Now I wait....
