  1. CWM and Maryrose thank you very much for sharing this! I thought it was just me.Maryrose love your motto.Lapbands really aren't for sissies.:cursing:
  2. Hello I am banded for 2 years now, doing great. However the past few weeks have been very stressful for me escpecially this week. I have noticed that for the past days or so that when I have issues with anxiety or get stressed while I eat I vomit because it feels that my stomach literally gets smaller. However if I am calm and not stessed I can have a normal meal. Do you think there is any connection between stress/anxiety and vomiting? The thing is that my LB doctor is currently unavailable and I truly don't know if this is something he could help with or not.:cursing:
  3. Hello all, I;ve been banded a year ago and since then I lost 62 pounds (I currently weigh 160 pounds)with 3 fills -I currently have 4.5cc in my band. The problem is that I haven't lost any weight since November!!I just keep going up or down 2 pounds every week.. It's like by body is really fighting to keep every pound. Now I'm afraid that I will never get past this point EVER!! I exercise and make healthy choices. I've had my last fill on Saturday 1 cc. Does anyone know how much you are supposed to lose in the first year? I was ashamed to ask my doc  because I think I have failed .......:hurray:

  5. HI ALL! I am Cristina, I am 24 and I am having my lap band surgery on Feb 14th . I come from Romania, which is somewhere in Eastern Europe. Fact is that there are very few people in my country who have had this surgery and I really don't have anyone to talk to. I sincerely hope that I can find someone here to share my experience with.
