Hello all...I am from Ohio. I told my Mom , my husband,my sister. I also told my supervisor at work, who let it slip to some of my co-workers.I wish they all did not know because they all have comments about my weight now.I have only lost 15 lbs and I can not see it , but i put on a pair of dress pants that i haven't been able to wear in a while...Yea Me!!!

I turned 40 on June 4. I was banded June 12.My scales say that I have lost 15lbs but I can not see it but yesterday I put on a pair of dress pants that i haven't been able to wear for a year and guess what!....They Fit!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited and can not wait until I start seeing a huge difference. I am so ready to look great in my forties I definately feel better.

Banded 6/12 have not vomited

I was banded on 6/12 and goodness knows I have probably eaten more than I should.I have my first fill on July 9. Hopefully I will fill restriction soon.I am afraid I wil gain weight. What is it like to have a fill? Does it hurt?

my surgery date is 6/12. I am happy, excited ,nervous and scared to death. But I know in the end it is the only way for me to be healthy again.

my surgery date is june 12th. I start my pre-op diet june 7. I am so excited and so nervous. can anyone tell me how bad the scars are? Not that I will care I just wondered?

hello All! I am beginning the lapband process and I am nervous scared,excited and anxious. I have been overweight for almost ten years now and I just can't do it anymore. I want to be able to play softball with my daughter,and not get winded walking up the stairs when going to my son's baseball games and I want to be able to keep up with my 12 year old son when he challenges me.But most of all I want to feel good for me. I want to live life to it's fullest and not be ashamed to go places because I am "fat". I have my first appointment next month and I would appreciate any advice good or bad that you fellow bandsters can give me.

Hello Ohio, I am beginning my lapband journey.I have my 1st seminar on Feb.2. What should I expect and how long does the process take?I have anthem bcbs FEP.
