  1. Congratulations and good luck on your Quest to be healthy for life. I just had my lap-band surgery on Tuesday, January 15, 2008. I feel great and no pain. Even better is that I have lost 12.5 lbs as of today, since surgery. As far as food amounts. I was worried, but have no fear. 2 oz of fish is alot. Take my word for it. I would have eaten three times that amount before surgery. I am not hungry, at all. My Doctor started my diet on stage 3 of the meal plan after surgery. My first meal at the hospital was 2 oz of tuna fish with diet dressing and 2 oz of blue berry yogart. I only ate about half of each and got dressed 2 hours later and went home. Please note that I have simular medical problems and weight goals as you. Best wishes
  2. Well, This is day 5 since I had surgery... and I feel great! Alittle sore, but 7 lbs lighter already. I have been home enjoying some quiet time and getting to know the new diet one on one, before going back to work next week. So, this is the start to a new me in the new year. Im ready to begin enjoying it all again!
