  1. I went into the Dr here in KC yesterday seems they're not big on revisions , he scheduled me the EDG for the 16th, saying more than likely I have nothing wrong , he told me revisions are seldom done , I guess my cold sweats and pains are caused by , well I am not sure !? I bought a book on resetting your pouch 14 days of nothing but liquid diet , then 2 meals liquid , 1 meal end of day 3 oz protein and veggies ... Guess we will see ! Good luck to y'all ! Please keep me posted !! This is a new Dr for me as well as my original Dr in KC is also no longer involved in the doing the surgery .
  2. I had 6 drainage bulbs on my first surgery, so two will be a walk in the park for me although I am a bit older myself ! And thank you for the update , I was told you can expect to lose 30 pounds with revision ? Curious if you were told the same ?
  3. I too 13 years out 60 pounds gained back from losing 130 , I'm trying to reset my pouch , I go in to see my Dr in Feb for the same as yourself !! Please keep me posted on how it goes.
  4. You must give it time to work , after about a month I noticed my weight loss , and please always follow your portion rules and eat correctly and drink water as they say to . I'm almost 13 years out , I lost 130 pounds and I have gained back 60 of that and I'm struggling to get that off now . I am resetting my pouch , and it's NOT easy ! I have also heard and experienced that losing weight gained after this surgery is harder then if you didn't have it. Always remember your pouch stretches back out , every bite over your measures amount is another bit of a stretch , and our pouches are not made of steel. Follow the rules it works , easy fix , NO not even close , you still must eat right , excersise, I will say it will give you a start to a new life , BUT , as with any weight loss or gain , one must eat correctly and it's a permanent life change you MUST commit to . Good luck to all
  5. I am almost 13 years out this May ... I lost 140 pounds , and in the past 5 years mainly 3 years gained back 60 , it happens quickly and one thing that must be remembered every extra bite over your portion stretches your pouch out just a little more, ever bit of sugar , you end up wanting more it's like a drug & I personally had the attitude of sure HONEY lets grab a bite , my 4 - 5 bites throughout the past few years led me to eating my whole plate of food , we all know that's not good ! For the past year when grabbing a bite once a mo now with the hubby we share the plate of food , now I'm just starting a reset of my pouch . Praying I see results . Telling myself the pouch stretches it's not made of iron , now I must get it back down to where it was in the beginning.
  6. I am trying to do a reset ... My downfall is I have fallen off track in the past 3 years of having allowed stress of having a sick grand baby and grabbing food from hospital on the run. Sadly enough I'm one of those that eats when stressed unlike many who do the opposite and not eat. I would rather stay away from pills of any sort. I will get myself back on track , was disappointed to find my Dr is no longer involved in beriatric . I have done research and found another since my post , I was very lucky to get in early February. To everyone out there just let it be known I'm not the only one in the boat of gaining weight back , be aware of your portions . If you have 5 pounds sneak up on you nip it in the behind asap! Thank you for your reply , I am almost 13 years out and I will beat this ! These apps help for positive and encouraging people!
  7. I'm ten years out , follow the rules I have gained back 60 pounds of the 110 I lost . I'm stressed out and I started eating poorly with friends. Stay wise ! I'm now having a very difficult time getting off the 60 pounds gained and miserable, depressed & my Dr is no longer practicing . I'm lost
  8. I had my gastric bypass over ten years ago now. From stress related situations I have gained back 60 pounds of what I lost . My Dr is no longer in practice and I can not seem to get this back off. I wanted desperately to go back in and now I'm feeling without words.
