  1. I'm 23 years old and going to have the gastric sleeve done in less than a month now. I'm super excited but also extremely nervous. I have all of the support in the world but it's still scary. my mother and aunt both had the same surgery by the same doctor over the past year so I basically know what I'm getting into but I don't know any younger people that have had the surgery done seeing as my aunt and mom are both over 40! I'm not so nervous about the weight loss part but more nervous about how much life's going to change with guys, clothes, my attitude and possibly my personality. I hear about that a lot with people who lose a huge amount of weight. I'm at my highest now 230. If like to get down to 140-150.
