  7. We ( my surgical group) can coffee but needs to be decaf...and still need to adhere to single digits for sugar...remember your body needs the liquids and caffeine is a natural diaretic

  10. @@1cutiejulie if u follow me i was righy their with u i even made a good bye video to my husband and kids cause i did not want to scare them told my husband where it was at on my phone. Told him where the will is, how to pay bills blah blah...Their is a risk of death and i feel like im like murphy law figured i would be that % and wouldbe the one who died...so your not alone...i dont know anyone who has died feom it personally but another sleever knew 2 people who had serious complications but they were seriously over weight. I feel you and i was strong as much as i could for my husband...he did mini videos while i was in surgery to see after and then told me he saw my video for 3 seconds had to stop..lol so cute...if anyone was terrified i was!!!
  11. I was sleeved in march 21...let me tell u the first week was hell!!! Traveling in a car sucked...i would take a pillow and hug it but had it...walking was very slow...but a nice firm cami did the trick..sipping oh lord i was using disposable shot glasses! (Still have some) dont even get me started on pain....but it all got better!!! I drink normal no issues but i have an app that reminds me...eating ehh still prefer liquids but i eat cottage cheese, chicken, fish anything soft...pain every once in a while.something new comes around but goes away...its the first 2/weeks that really gonna suck but it DOES get better!! The only thing i can say is find YOUR TEMPERATURE!!! Foods/liquids are all better and easier to go down if u know what ur body likes...before surgery ice cold was my fav...now nope!! All food and liquid needs to be warm to hot. Once i figured that out it was down hill.
  12. I asked my surgeon that question about skin...al she said was their are no guarantees but the younger we are the easier it is to snap back...im 37 so praying!
  13. Still no stall i am over a month but scale moves VERY slow 1-2 lbs a week.
  14. The hospital will give u instructions from mt auburn...which is a liquid diet...dr kim only does surgery on Mondays so you will start your liquid diet on sat and stop sunday at 8pm....my suggestion do what i did esp sunday drink as much fluids up until 8pm..cause when i got out of surgery i was so thirsty...and those swabs dont do anything! Being chapstick or lip gloss cause even though i brought mine my lips where so chapped.
  15. Good luck!! You will so great...keep us posted!
  16. Done posting in this topic...unfollowed post. @@PatriotFan thanks...
  17. NO ONE should take these posts serious...NO ONE here is qualified to give medical advice...i am not qualified to do just simply telling everyone what " I DO" your surgeon and nutritionist are your proper guides...
  18. Yes i exceed my fluids...im fine and doing great..dont worry about me unless i ask...we are trying to help mzstockton...your all losing perspective... As for how i get fluids in and food (not that its anyones business)...i dont like the feeling in my stomach when i eat. I asked my nutrionist i can stay on liquid diet. She said that was fine and it may take me longer to adjust back to eating then most...but as long as i eat ONE physical meal a day to challenge my body then its ok....so i CHOOSE to eat 1 meal a day...the rest comes from liquid Protein...so i get my protein/liquids at once...so i over exceed my protein and fluids in a day with out batting an eye...as for my one meal...thats the one that takes me 3 hrs..and since by the time i eat that i have already met everything else..i can take all the time i want...hope that helps you to know my business...
  19. Wls standard is not the same everywhere and by far standard!! Everyone is entitled to their opinion but when you says its wrong is not proper or correct... And its rude cause all we are trying to due is help someone...
  20. @matchoutsideinside everyones dietician and surgeon is different... 3 hrs is perfectly ok and unlike most i have not had a weight stall...if you look up weight loss and body building you actually have to eat more to lose...please do not form your negative opinions...its not grazing and perfectly ok...
