I am a 41 year old guy. My wife and I had a very high sex drive before the Liquid Diet began. I do use Viagra because of some "misfires" I believe to be caused from my diabetes. Two nights before surgery (10 days on liquids) we tried to have a "Grand sendoff" before my surgery. ED kicked in and I was not able to finish. It's been quite a while since that has happened. Very disappointing. I'm now 5 days post op. Thought I might make another effort when I get out my drain in 2 days, but I'm a bit gun-shy. I have heard stories of soaring drives and success after surgery, and I know I'm early. I'm not a spring chicken but I still had "morning wood" 2 or 3 days a week pre liquid diet. With the exception of the Viagra induced failure pre op, I have not even been able to get an errection since the start of the Liquid Diet 15 days ago. I checked my protein and its Whey not Soy. Anyone else have this issue? Help? Feeling quite emasculated right now...

This may seem silly, but I had surgery on Monday. I was pretty scared and anxious. Everything went as expected I suppose. I thought I had a group of friends that was a really strong support system. Its now Thursday and none of that circle of friends including what I thought was my best friend has been by to check on me. Now I have post surgery blues real bad. My wife has been great. She helped me put my cpap mask on tonight as I went to bed and I couldn't hold back the tears. She has been wonderful, but my feelings are so hurt over my friends. Anyone else having the post surgery blues or is it just me?

I start liquid Thursday and I am completely with you!

I am a 41 year old male and I am scheduled for the sleeve in March. This may sound silly, but do they give you a catheter during surgery? The idea if a male cath scares the hell out of me.
