  6. Hello everyone! I am new to the surgery too, had mine Dec. 9th. I have not been great at following the diet, as I didn't do well on the broth only part. I just jumped to eating a few bites a meal of some softer foods. I have had ham & Beans, ham & cheese sand., etc. and am down 23 lbs. Am I headed for trouble or is this considered a success for me?
