  1. I am a little flabby around my belt line, but I think from the way things are going when I lose another 15 lbs I will be in pretty good shape. At least I don't think it will be enough to worry about as far as surgery. Mine seems to be shrinking back pretty well. I was told that drinking alot of Water and losing at a steady pace helps with your skins elasticity. Honestly the only exercise I have done is on the treadmill. About 3-4 days a week and about 30-45 minutes. Usually 2 miles and honestly I have not been doing that lately....... I plan on starting some kind of weight training soon to help firm up a little or tone up. I will try and post some pics without my shirt so you can see what I mean by a little flab...LOL Thanks, Wayne
  2. dg441, You should call your doctor and tell them the problems you are having. I went through the same things when I came home....could not even get a teaspoon of water to go down with out feeling like it needed to come back up and also causing pain. I had alful gas pains and acid reflux. I was miserable for the first four of five days. I called the doctor and they had me come in. They said there sometimes is a little fluid in the band left from when they test it during surgery, so they pulled that fluid out. Then he gave me a prescription for steroids because he said I probably had some swelling which was causing me to have so much restriction even with no fluid in the band. I was much better by the next day and have not had any problems since. My doctor said that not everyone has swelling but some peoples stomach will swell from being manipulated while they put the band on and it also has stitches. Anyway, I hope this helps. Let me know how things are going. Wayne:smile2:
  3. Thanks, I know it made a huge difference in how I feel. I did not realise how much it was affecting my health. I have so much more energy and I feel great. Good luck, Wayne
  4. I was banded December 18, 2006 The before pic was taken the day before surgery and the after was about a week after my one year anniversary. The band has been one of the best decisions I ever made. Still have about 10-15 lbs to go and I will be at my goal weight.
