  1. Good morning! 158.
  2. Yes I will definitely do this challenge. Thanks!!
  3. I have done 2 weeks of clear fluids and am now on 2 weeks of full fluids which includes thinned down Greek yogurt, puréed soup and Protein shakes. I was sleeved February 9th. After I finish 2 weeks of full fluids I move on to soft foods for a minimum of 2 weeks and then to solids. It's weird how every surgeon seems to have a different plan of attack for getting back to eating. I think my surgeon works really hard at having us create good habits which helps with our long term success. I agree though I don't care to ever consume broth or Jello again!! Good uck and just try to keep really focused on the process.
  4. Thanks everyone for the replies. Yes that was what it was. The Gas X strips helped a lot. Very minimal pain if any now
  5. I've mad it through the surgery -yay! I have such bad abdominal pain right at the top my tummy where my boobs begin. Why?
  6. Congratulations! You are looking fabulous and I am so inspired by your success Nicole
  7. February 9th for me!! Getting super excited. Started my first week of 3 week preop diet. Working on getting lots of Protein, lots of Water throughout the day, and eating on a schedule to learn how to stop grazing all day long. Good luck to everyone. I can't wait for success
  8. My surgery is Feb 9. I start my preop diet tomorrow which is 1 week of high Protein (100 g/day) and then 1 week of full fluids and 1 week of clear fluids. I've started tracking my food in my fitness pal for the last 3 days too. I think it will help me when I'm postop when I have to start doing these things. At least I will have a bit of an idea how to do it. Every time I leave the house I forget to take a Water bottle with me so really have to work on that!!
  9. Hi February sleevers! 1 month until surgery and it's starting to seem real for me. I've been working on cutting out flour and sugar from my diet, getting into the habit of sipping Water all day long and eating on a schedule. I am quite a grazer and eat all day long so this is a big one for me. These are all things I have picked up from reading and listening to the advice of other patients who have had the surgery. My preop diet will start around January 19th I think. Just wondering who else is out there and how you're feeling about it?
  10. I will be having gastric sleeve in February with Dr. Pompa.
