  6. I just had my first hunger pain. So I had broth and am sipping it. Honestly it made me a little nervous, I didn't think I would get any hunger pains. For the rest of yall is that normal?
  7. I use the unflavored unjury protein, water and a 1/2 package of sugar free jello for flavor and it's not bad. It sounds weird but it's pretty good. I'm drinking a strawberry banana one now
  8. I had bypass on Monday and have started taking my vitamins, calcium and iron pills. I have tried a few different baratric multi vitamins but hate the taste...can someone reccomend a good kind.
  9. Omg I had it the same day and had no idea the pain would be so bad. I ended up calling my Dr and telling him that 6 hrs between doses of pain mediation was not working bc then I was chasing the pain. He said he didn't want me to be in pain so take every 4 hrs as needed. That has really helped. Also even though it hurts try to move. I also have a small hard pillow they gave me at the hospital and I hold it against my incision sight and it helps a ton. But gosh coughing is by far one of the pains I wish would go away. Today was my first day to go 7.5 hrs with out pain medication and so I'm pretty happy. Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon.
  10. Awesome!!!!! I can't even imagine that feeling. I'm 4days post op
  11. I would like the recipes for your pizza please.
  12. Thanks so much for your response. Good to know that I will feel it. It takes me a good 1.5 he's just to finish my protein shakes. Do you have anymore helpful advice I could use?
  13. I think I am finally on the road to recovery. I had gastric bypass surgery Monday. I am able to walk around my apartment and am taking my pain medication less. I am still on the liquid stage and had a few questions. My nutritionist said that if I will fill a slight push in my chestwhen I'm full. I haven't had that sensation. Is that because I'm not really "eating" in mainly drinking. I'm taking this process serious and don't want to mess up. I'm scared, is that normal too? Thanks in advance for your support.
