  1. I could only have clear liquids. I went home the day after surgery though.
  2. You just had a large portion of your stomach removed. Pain the first couple of days is normal. They filled you up with gas and dug around in there.

  4. I really only had pain the day of surgery. The worst part was the first few days of full liquids when I was nauseated and not getting enough water.
  5. You can do it! My schedule is crazy too so I just plan ahead. I always have a protein shake ready to go and bring plenty of jello, pudding, and soup to work. My pre op is full liquids.
  6. I don't know if it was an insurance requirement or my doctors requirement but I had to lose 15 pounds between my initial consultation and pre op appointment.
