  1. I was banded on 2/25 in Portland, Oregon. It has been two weeks today since surgery and I am doing pretty good on liquids. I did have alot of gas pains and feel hungry alot, but doing very well I think! I am looking forward to mushy stage starting tomorrow and wondering what I am going to eat......
  2. I too had my surgery on 2/25/09 and have lots of pain still under my chest sternum area! Think it's still some gas left but I also had a hiatel hernia repaired and it could be that. I am also very hungry which I didn't think I would be.....are you hungry? I have been having lots of Water, gatorade, sf Jello, sf pudding and Protein drinks but I have rumbling in my tummy and it feels like real hunger pains. I just drank a Slimfast and I guess it helped but I am off too bed now and then I won't be hungry!!!! I haven't taken any pain meds today because they just make me tired all day and I don't want to feel tired all the time! I tried just tylenol crushed up today and that was GOD awful! I am thinking a couple more days and the gas pains and hopefully hunger pains will go away. I decided to go back to work Monday, but I may have to revisit that tomorrow depending on how I feel then! Good luck! :0)
  3. I am just 4 days post-op and learning alot, but I couldn't stand the taste of the crushed pills either. I decided to just split them in half with a pill cutter and that was good enough. They are still smaller than a pencil eraser so should be just fine!
