  1. Oh gosh! I thought it was just me... I'm exhausted! I'm sleeping all the time when I'm supposed to be drinking water, and just when am I supposed to get protein in? I had my surgery Monday and was home Tuesday. Hopefully I'll start having some energy soon!
  2. Hi all! It's been about 8 hours since surgery and I'm feeling great. I highly recommend taking advantage of any pain meds they offer in the hospital, because what I assumed was gas pain responded to thwm. I've been up walking and using the restroom and I should be going home tomorrow. Yay!
  3. Great news Te-Te! My surgery is Monday morning, and I'm starting to get nervous. Any last minute recommendations on what I should take to the hospital? Anything you wished you would have brought?
  4. My surgery date is Monday the 14th. My doctor hasn't prescribed a pre-op diet, but from what I've read it seems like a good idea to try to reverse any fatty liver disease before surgery. So, is the pre-op diet just going on low sugar protein shakes?
  5. Awesome news! I hope you continue to do spectacularly!
  6. My surgery is Monday 12/14... I'm excited to start this process! The only thing I'm nervous about is the IV, I hate having them in my hand! I've been putting together a plan for success. I bought a new fancy planner and am going to use it to track food, exercise, emotions, and weight loss. It will be neat to have it to look back on this time next year!
