  1. I am now 6 weeks post op and feeling back to normal in almost every respect. The weird tastes that I initially had have completely gone away. My biggest challenge right now is the psychology of developing new habits and not getting roped in to old patterns. I bought a bag of low calorie crackers last week. The first few days I only ate a few but last night I had more and can see where this is not a good time to be introducing these into my diet yet. I need more time to develop new eating patterns that will not throw me under the bus.
